Iranian Commander: We Have Targets Within America -- Daily Caller

A top commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards boasted Saturday that his forces have plans in place to attack the United States from within, should the U.S. attack the Islamic Republic.

“America, with its strategic ignorance, does not have a full understanding of the power of the Islamic Republic,” Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami said in a televised interview. “We have recognized America’s military strategy, and have arranged our abilities, and have identified centers in America [for attack] that will create a shock.”

Reports indicate that terrorist Hezbollah forces — allies of Iran — have infiltrated the U.S. and have mapped out targets.

As Zbigniew Brzezinski observed recently, China is not ready militarily for a serious showdown with the United States.

That Iran - far smaller than China with even less Nuclear Capability let alone weapons, and then let alone weapons directed at US - is even less remotely ready than China to confront the 32 US Military Bases, and some European Bases around itself, let alone American Targets is unworthy of the attention it has garnered recently.

Iranian Tea Party trash talking should be left to the Alaskan Moose Hunters and Appalachian Squirrel Skinners.

Iran says 'you attack me, I counterattack.' What's unusual about that.

IOW Iran (also) says: All options are on the table. A mutual understanding of that will encourage negotiations.

Iran's counterattack possibilities are many. It has agents in neighboring countries harboring US military (Afghan and Iraq), it has missiles useful against the many military installations around the gulf where 40,000 US troops are stationed and vulnerable, plus the US Fifth Fleet ships in the gulf are sitting-duck targets for cruise missiles, torpedoes and smart mines.
