Russia is threatening to blow up Obama’s negotiations with Iran in response to U.S. sanctions. The Obama team says they aren’t worried about losing the key pillar of their foreign policy agenda, but should they be?
The Obama administration claims it isn’t worried that escalating tensions with the Kremlin over Crimea will wreck U.S.-Russian cooperation in other parts of the world. But there are already signs pointing in the other direction. And that could be very bad for any attempts to solve the civil war in Syria or keep Iran from going nuclear.
U.S. officials at this week’s talks with Iran in Vienna admitted that they were worried the process, which is now in the second round, could fall victim to the greater dispute over what’s going on in Ukraine.

My Comment: Of course this crisis is going to have an impact .... the Iranians are watching this dispute and it is a given that strategies are being developed on how they can advantage of this split. Russia has been putting pressure on Iran in the past year to come to the table .... I will wager that this pressure will not be there when the next round of talks begin in April. Israel .... in turn .... may decide to pursue a more robust independent policy against Iran .... an outcome that I can only speculate will be not good for everyone involved.

There are so many "sky is falling in" false, extremist and incorrect remarks in connection with world affairs currently being published and this is one:
