So the prime minister of Crimea has a sense of humor — and he unleashed it at the White House on Monday, sending out a mocking Photoshopped photograph of President Obama wearing a Russian military uniform.

And the accompanying translated text — take or leave a couple of pronouns — that’s attributed from Sergey Aksyonov, as reported by The Huffington Post: “Interestingly, after the success of the company in returning Crimea, Barack is getting the rank of colonel?”

My Comment: When you have someone like Sergey Aksyonov laughing at you .... that is when you must realize that maybe (just maybe) your foreign policy strategy on handling the Ukraine crisis is not working.

Let's see if I've got this straight.

--The people in Kiev were right to exercise their rights in removing the Ukraine government and taking it over, and they are fully supported by the US.

--The people in Crimea were not right in taking over the Crimea government, and their actions bring retaliation by the US.

I guess the difference is that Kievans are against Russia and Crimeans are not. duh

Apparently Ukraine is a concocted construct of two different peoples, like Red states and Blue states, with some molotov cocktails served up to intensify and harden the differences.

It has been US policy to destabilize many countries in this fashion. Now Ukraine is like Iraq and Libya. Success!!
