Some of my readers have pointed out to me that I have been having problems with my "Comments Section". I have noticed the same thing. Two months ago .... because of spam and comments on hate that was getting out of hand .... I changed the comment settings to the requirement of "editor approval before publishing". This blog has had almost 4 million visitors in the past few years ... it is therefore not a surprise that it has attracted an assortment of strange and wonderful people .... from Generals and Admirals/well known actors/politicians/fellow bloggers/intelligence officials/ and I (have noticed in my tracking tool) a daily visitor with a Whitehouse.gov address. It has also attracted a few other characters .... 9/11 deniers/ethnic racists/spam marketers/hackers/etc..
Unfortunately .... because of a promise that I made a few weeks ago with the GF that I will free up my weekends for us to be together .... I am only in front of the computer on Saturday and Sunday mornings .... so a comment may not be published until 12 hours later and/or next day. I do not like this .... the flow of comments is essential for a blog .... and besides .... I enjoy reading them.
To rectify the situation I have released the editor controls on the comments section. Comments can now be posted right away and without editor approval. Blog postings will still be light on the weekend .... I have to after-all take care of family or I will be ending up with a rebellion .... but Monday and Friday .... those will still be the busy days.

Got a life huh, alright no more whining from me.
As my brother who has been married for a long time puts it to me .... relationships are all about "sacrifice and compromise". Hmmmm .... that explains why he is no longer happy.
