The US only takes on piddly-ass third world countries with partisans shooting from behind trees and laying fertilizer mines in dirt roads, and then loses. It's not about to take on Russia, or any other first-rate military power.

Next Week Obama will freeze Putin's Facebook account and then draw another "red line" at Twitter. Oh wait - can't do that. He's given up control of the Internet.

This brings the question -- What would the US do if Ukraine WERE in Nato? Does the US still want to expand NATO into places like Ukraine and Georgia, and THEN have to back down?
The real question on everyone's mind at NATO, is will the US back us in a hostile event? What everyone is realizing, but afraid to say is no.
