Ukraine Crisis: Russia Vows No Invasion -- BBC
Moscow has no intention of sending troops into Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
His comments came after the US and Russian presidents discussed a possible diplomatic solution to the crisis.
The US-backed plan calls for Russia to halt to its military build-up on the border with Ukraine and withdraw its troops in Crimea to their bases.
US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Paris on Sunday.
Reports say Mr Kerry was flying home from the Middle East on Saturday when he abruptly changed travel plans and instructed his plane to fly to Paris.

My Comment: I actually believe Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's comments that there will be no Russian invasion in Ukraine. But .... I also believe that if the situation does deteriorate in Ukraine in which Russians are being threatened .... there will be a Russian intervention.

Reactive armor now on top. I know they know they're being photoed and will put their best foot forward, but their gear looks in really good shape, especially compared to the past.
About 20 years ago I visited my uncle at a Russian military base outside of St. Petersburg. It was a sad sight to see. Three years ago I saw a Russian military convoy outside of Moscow .... they all had new gear and the soldiers looked incredibly professional.
