Ukrainian Military: Base Stormed In Crimea By Pro-Russian Self-Defense Forces -- CNN

Kiev, Ukraine (CNN) -- A Ukrainian military base in Crimea was stormed by pro-Russian self-defense forces and was under Russian control, a Ukraine Defense Ministry spokesman said Saturday.

Ukrainian forces on the Novofederoskoe base threw smoke bombs during the incident and retreated to the base's headquarters, according to Defense Ministry spokesman Vladislav Seleznev in a Facebook posting.

The base's aviation brigade then sang the Ukrainian national anthem, lowered the Ukrainian flag and left the base, Defense Ministry spokesman Vladislav Seleznev said.

Look at the guy in the background 3rd from left. I think it's the "too cool for school guy" from the pic of three Russian troopies in front of the Naval Base gate. Also in the gate picture did you notice the camo netting on the gate? It was hung on the INSIDE, why I have no idea.

A part of me says that these glasses are somewhat the same product that U.S. servicemen wear to protect their eyes. Another part of me says that these are just sunglasses because I look cool. Hmmmm .... I go for the cool look reason.
