Military technology has come a long way in just a few short years, but what are the most powerful military weapons in today’s modern age?
War has been going on for centuries, almost since the dawn of man. Though that has remained fairly constant throughout the world, one thing has changed significantly and that is the weaponry that is used. Thousands of years ago, our ancestors would have been using simple, yet effective weapons such as spears, swords or even just blunt objects.
At one point in time, the bow and arrow was considered to be the pinnacle of weapons technology and allowed armies, such as that of the Roman Empire, to rule with a heavy hand for many years. Just being able to not have to get up close and personal with the enemy was enough to give such a great military edge, but that won’t cut it in today’s world.

My Comment: A few surprises .... but the top two are not a surprise (biological and nuclear). I would also add chemical weapons to the list.
