Russian Media Report CIA Director Held 'Secret Consultations' in Kiev -- Moscow Times
Russian news agencies reported Sunday that U.S. CIA director John Brennan had a secret meeting with Ukrainian officials in Kiev before they began operations against separatist forces that had taken over buildings in the country's east.
Brennan landed in Ukraine on Saturday under an assumed name and held a "series of secret meetings" with the country's "power bloc" Interfax reported, citing an unidentified official in the Ukrainian parliament. The unidentified official said that there were "unconfirmed reports" that the U.S. security official was behind the decision to use force in eastern Ukraine after pro-Russian separatist forces took control of the city of Slovyansk.

My Comment: I have trouble believing what I am reading .... the CIA Director traveled to Ukraine under an assumed name thinking that this would help him get inside the country without being noticed ?!?!?!?! He is the frigging CIA Director .... the Russians are eying him 24/7 .... and on top of that .... everyone knows that the interim Ukraine government is filled with Russian moles and private supporters of ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych .... it does not take a rocket scientist to know that they would contact Moscow as soon as the CIA Director made his presence felt. But what gets even better is the White House line that his secret trip to Ukraine was not a big deal .... that nothing of substance was discussed .... that his trip was to just talk and assess the situation. OK .... I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell.

The Central Idiots Agency travelling under an assumed name? I agree with your comment but how much more of this sort of intel can we survive? Another Obama or Bush and we will be completely undone as many of our best fighting men are being put to pasture. It is as if the floppy disc containing our intelligence has been pulled and not replaced, we are simply out of our depth. Our current strength is based on the intelligence of men of the previous two or three generations but no longer.
