Feds Conducting Radiation Survey in Boston Before Marathon -- Weekly Standard
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will spend the four days leading up to the Boston Marathon conducting a helicopter-based survey to measure naturally occurring background radiation in a ten square mile area west of downtown Boston. The measurements are being taken to "establish baseline levels [which] is a normal part of security and emergency preparedness", especially before large public events such as the marathon. A similar survey was conducted in northern New Jersey and New York City before the Superbowl in January.
The NNSA made the announcement to alert residents who may be alarmed by the low-flying aircraft. The twin-engine helicopter out of the military's Joint Base Andrews in Maryland will fly a grid pattern as low as 150 feet above the ground at 80 miles per hour, though only during daylight hours.

Well obviously! Its been 13 years since 9/11 and the US goverment STILL hasen't told the truth about it and they never will. Putin and possibly other goverments might also know the truth about 9/11.
Why would the goverements bother to tell us the truth? The public is the enemy in their eyes.
Seriously we NEED TO WAKE UP.
If they did know something, it would not be in anybody's best interest to say anything. DHS as already told us it is possible and has warned us to be prepared. Past that, disclosing every threat as it came in would only cause needless panic. Are there people who wish to do us harm? Yes. Do the means exist to do us harm? Yes. Would it do any good to have people running around yelling "the sky is falling!"? No. The best reason not to say anything is because we are not the enemy. Listing off every threat or even every credible threat would only lead to needless panic and probably endanger more people than the manifestation of the actual threat. The public is not the enemy and they really are doing their jobs, which also includes protecting us from ourselves, because it is in nobody's best interest to cause panic. The mess of an incident is usually easier to clean up than the mess caused by terrified angry mobs of people acting out of knee jerk reactions to amorphous fears. Just my 2 pennies.
It's usually easy to tell wolves from sheep. Wolves sit calmly and watch, study, and calculate. Sheep run around in fear warning all the other sheep that the wolves are out to get everybody.
