Conflict Spreads in Central Africa -- New York Times
Muslim militants in Nigeria have become more brazen, killing more than 70 people in a bomb blast in the capital and kidnapping dozens of school girls. They have also been accused of crossing into Cameroon for kidnappings. Meanwhile, the United Nations is sending peacekeepers to the Central African Republic to end vicious fighting between Christians and Muslims.
Do these conflicts indicate that central Africa could be on the brink of a regional religious war?
