Kiev Blames Moscow For The Crisis In Eastern Ukraine

Russia Trying To 'Dismember' Ukraine Through Protests, Kiev Says -- CNN

My Comment: It is easier to blame Russia for what is unfolding in eastern Ukraine rather than blaming the failure of one's policy .... and while it is definitely true that Russia has certainly not been helpful in this crisis .... much (if not all of the blame) for this crisis should rest on the shoulders of the interim Ukraine government. They helped in the revolution that overthrew an elected President, they are the ones who turned a blind eye to the purging of Russians from government and security organizations, and they have further aggravated the situation by not including eastern Ukrainians into their interim government (i.e. no cabinet representation). The economic crisis in eastern Ukraine is also very real .... government salaries and pensions are being paid only intermittently, and people are being laid-off. To add even more insult to injury .... appointing Ukrainian oligarchs to rule over you was the last straw.

Now there will be war. How big, in what form, and what duration are the only questions left.
