Pro-Russian protesters have stormed government buildings in three eastern Ukrainian cities.
In Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv they clashed with police, hung Russian flags from the buildings and called for a referendum on independence.
Ukraine's acting president called an emergency security meeting in response.
The unrest comes amid tensions between Russia and Ukraine over the removal of pro-Moscow President Viktor Yanukovych and Russia's annexation of Crimea.

My Comment: I would not be calling it a revolution .... but it is getting there. My aunt lives in Kharkiv (eastern Ukraine) , and from her vantage point she is seeing everything collapsing. Her pension payments have been erratic .... but she is not alone .... those who work for the government (teachers, doctors, etc.) have been experiencing the same fate. There is now a growing acceptance in eastern Ukraine that maybe there should be a referendum to join Russia .... and as the turmoil is increasing .... it would not surprise me if these calls for a vote get louder. I asked my aunt's son (he is in his late twenties) .... if Russia is involved in fermenting the unrest. According to him .... Russia does not have to get involved .... everyone is worried about their jobs/paychecks/ security/etc. .... and almost everyone feel that they have been betrayed and abandoned by Kiev. As he told me bluntly .... the situation is becoming poisonous .... and unless people start to get their paychecks and pensions .... people will start to become desperate.
