This story hits me home. My brother and his family lives in San Mateo, and this is what he does for a living ... but in the biotech field. There are now hundreds of thousands of Russians living in the Bay area .... and technology is their thing. Unfortunately .... the Ukraine crisis is impacting business .... and if the situation worsens .... who knows what additional sanctions will be imposed by the White House and Congress.

On a personal note ... from May 9 to May 19 your humble WNU Editor will in fact be in San Francisco. I have to be there for business, family (I am the Godfather to my niece and it is her first communion), the need to meet old friends and even older business acquaintances that I have ignored for far too long, and .... on a personal note .... the need to satisfy an uncontrollable desire to spend a few days in Sonoma and Napa wine country to enjoy some good wine and food ... and doing it with family and close friends. Yup .... I can taste and smell it now .... OPUS, Silverado, Silver Oak, Stag's Leap, Screaming Eagle (I have a great contact at that winery) , Korbel, etc., etc..

Sighhh .... so little time .... so many wineries.

So yes .... you have all been forewarned .... in a couple of weeks blogging will be very very very light ... but do not worry .... I will return and as a bonus I will be posting pictures.
