Three members of Ukraine's special anti-terrorist unit Alpha have been captured, bound and blindfolded by the people's militia of Donetsk.

Stripped of their trousers and shoes, they sat with heads bowed.

Igor Strelkov, commander of the armed insurgents, said the three Ukrainian officers were on a mission to seize leaders of the pro-Russia force when they were captured.

My Comment: These men are in grave danger. Numerous reports of armed men abducting civilians and beating them on the street is becoming the norm in this region .... and apparently done on both sides. This is also more evidence on how much law and order has broken down in eastern Ukraine. The fact that the central government has to now send in it's own security officers undercover to seize leaders of the opposition shows how weak and ineffective they have become.
