For hours on end, the U.S. military watches what it calls terror targets overseas through the lenses of drones - remotely piloted aircraft flying miles above places like Pakistan and Yemen.

My Comment: As long as Pakistan permits a safe haven to exist on their soil .... there are going to be consequences .... including drone strikes. As to the alternative of using manned aircraft that are traveling at great speeds and height to conduct strikes against terror targets .... this will probably produce even more civilian casualties than what drones have done.
