Obama, Europe Leaders Intend to Impose More Russia Sanctions -- Wall Street Journal

Leaders Cite Lack of Moscow Cooperation Following Geneva Agreement on Ukraine

President Barack Obama spoke with four other world leaders about clamping a new round of sanctions on Russia, but senior U.S. officials said action is unlikely on Friday as the U.S. continues to negotiate with allies.

The White House said that Mr. Obama in the call stressed the need for additional steps to be coordinated through the Group of Seven leading industrialized countries and the European Union.

The call involved the U.S., French, U.K., German and Italian leaders, but none of the governments specified when new sanctions would be implemented.

Interesting. You think these countries would realize that sanctions won't stop Russia but only worsen relations. They do not fear these threats and if Ukraine attempts to get rid of these separatists then Russia will move in to protect them. They see these pro-russians(or Russian) protesters as their own and will aid them if necessary.
