It reminds me of Nam and the first modern radar/missile warning systems that had been installed in US aircraft. They worked great, too well. In such a dense air defense system the warnings were either ignored or turned off by the pilots to be able to concentrate on their tasks. Especially by the (Wild Weasels) when they went in to "dance" with the SAMs.
