U.S. Military Chief To Taliban: Seize The Moment To Negotiate -- Reuters
(Reuters) - The Taliban should take advantage of what may be a shrinking window of opportunity to seek a negotiated end to the conflict in Afghanistan, the top U.S. military official said on Thursday.
"I don't give military advice to the Taliban, but if I were giving them advice, I'd say, 'Your negotiating position is not going to improve; it's going to erode'," said Army General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Dempsey spoke after meeting NATO military leaders in Brussels as the alliance plans for what is expected to be a continued Western training mission in Afghanistan after most NATO and allied forces depart late this year.

My Comment: The Taliban have never been serious about negotiating .... so why start now .... especially when foreign forces are leaving?

Are all of our leaders fools? Do they not see what the rest of the world can plainly see? We are pulling out and he is telling them to negotiate. Complete f**cking fools, all of them top to bottom.
