Russia Hits Back At Claims It Supported Rebels Suspected Of Downing MH17 -- The Guardian
Vladimir Putin still blames Kiev for disaster in eastern Ukraine and claims west is using air atrocity for political gain
President Vladimir Putin and Russia's military top brass have attempted to strike back at accusations that they had supported the pro-Russian rebels suspected of shooting down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine.
The Kremlin appeared to be on the defensive after western countries suggested that Moscow bears some blame for the tragedy and demanded that Putin take steps to end the violence in the region.
President Barack Obama has asserted that a surface-to-air missile from rebel-controlled territory brought down the plane, but Russian officials and state-controlled television have focused on theories implicating the Ukrainian government or its western backers.

This is very BAD war propaganda. I defnently think the pro-Russians shot down the air plane now. If Russia had more "consturctive" theories i would pernhaps believe them. There are some things pointing to Ukraine shooting it down. So i am still unsure. Its a shame Russia wasent onest in this case. What will happen when the pro-Russians wil be "braught" to justice?
Rhaegar .... my gut is also telling me that the rebels may have gotten their hands on a BUK system, and there was someone who had a general idea on how to deactivate the launch codes and make the missile operational .... and knew how to launch it .... hence the tragedy that has unfolded.
But .... there are still too many questions that need to be answered .... and I always tell people to be skeptical of what both sides are saying.
It is with this mindset taht I will now summarize and try my best to be critical to all sides ....
On the Ukraine side .... they are refusing to release the air traffic control recordings. And the evidence that the have used to prove their case are a few YouTube videos That Ukraine intelligence posted, Facebook posts that were put up by supporters of the pro-separatist commander who is blamed for this shoot-down (not from the commander himself), and cell phone conversations recorded and posted on YouTube by Ukrainian intel officers .... but posted under different time stamps (i.e. one is before the downing of MH17).
The separatists side has been even more confusing .... they are too many different militias and little if any central authority on who manages them. Quite frankly .... they have no clue on what their fighters are doing in the field. They cannot claim that they did not shoot down this plane for the simple reason being that they do not know. and what bothers me .... they just do not want to know.
From Russia .... claims of Ukraine fighters shadowing flight MH17 and (maybe) shooting it down.... aside from some radar images .... there is nothing there. In fact .... their evidence is just as murky as what the U.S. just presented a few hours ago http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-22/us-government-releases-alleged-evidence-mh17-missile-trajectory
Bottom line .... a lot of talk, a lot of finger pointing, a lot of claims, a lot of circumstantial evidence .... but the real hard-core evidence of who is responsible for this catastrophe is just not there .... for now.
My hope .... and prediction .... is that after this civil war is over, we will have the actual soldiers and commanders finally step up and confess what they did. This will not only bring closure to the families .... but for the soldiers or rebels themselves.
1.
When will this civil war end? In some months or can it last for years?
2.
Are there still a risk of a Russian invation or will they back up and lose all their leverage?
3.
If the pro Russians lose all therotory will there be peace in eastern Ukraine or will there be partisan warfare and new people taking buildings in new areas due to gas shortage and mutch worser economy in Ukraine in the winter?

There is still the black boxes and theres is the answers. They are in "neutral" hands now:) (i hope)...
1) This conflict could last for years.
2) I never believed that there would be a Russian invasion .... I have always had the opinion that they will intervene only if everything became a complete and utter disaster.
3) The rebels have been preparing their supporters for partisan warfare.
As for the Black Boxes .... being in England when the Prime Minister himself has already expressed his opinion on who is at fault .... is probably not the best move. But we shall see.
