I take this as a"BAD" sign, wonder where this will go. Pernhaps to a new cold war if that what is going to happen.
1. Are there any news on what sanctions EU and the US agreed imposing on Russia?
2.
Any news on the Cryptome case? Is it true that all the documents will be released this month or is just to get interest for financing the Kickstarter thing? (Have nothing against Cryptome just a bit skeptic that's all).
3.
Can you post some news about the social unrest in Sweden? I asked you some months ago, just wanted to remind you if that's okey with you?

1) I doubt that this Russian base will operate at the level that it did during the cold war .... but it is still not a good development.
2) Cryptome is a unique web site. They are sometimes right. Sometimes wrong. And they .... like everyone else .... does need money.
3) The social unrest in Sweden has been growing for a long time. I was in Stockholm about 15 years ago for two weeks .... and I saw the social/immigration/culture tensions even then. I will post something in the next few days.

Thank you for feedback :) . Its interesting for me to know about the unrest in Sweden are afraid that the same is going to happen in Norway, we have too many imigrants. Its pretty interesting what is happening in Europe right now. Many nationalist political movments are slowly but surly getting strong political influence. Its happening in Greece with Goldrn Dawn, In Franch with National Front and in Hungary is Jobbic that are getting influench. Its altso happening in a smal scale in Sweden(i am a bit unsure) and Germany. What influence will this have in Europe? Can you post somthing about this if you want. Sorry if i am nagging you about news. I dont know your policy about people asking you to post about some specific news?

Rhaegar,
Keep bugging him, he needs it (keeps him out of the "wine in a box" he's got stashed), besides you ask some fairly good questions.

Hehe he is good at jokes :) but what is your policy on spesific news requests? And do you know something about the rise of Europien nationalism?

James said...

If you're asking me, well my policy is I comment when I feel like it and answer questions in the same vein, but I'm usually amiable just not correct a lot of the time. Euro nationalism has been on the rise just under reported. It will keep on rising with Europeans realizing that now they are basically defenseless. Look for the re-emergence of regional disputes and frictions in Europe. The real question I think is not the Eu braking up (it will), but where will the different parts drift to. Already you're seeing the signs of a Russo-Germanic combination, Britain tends to look northeast (your direction) France to the east and south etc. Something good for you to do, is to research the topic of your own country's military. What is it's establishment (how many, what kind, etc) it's capabilities, and it's war making experience of the last 20 yrs.

In Norway my country we have the problem with politicians that don't do much and believe every thing will be fine if they just do what EU and US expects us to do. They have no backbone they don't stand up to threats from foreign nations like China for example. The Dalai Lama case, China said our prime minister Erna Solberg shall not meet Dalai Lama because it would "hurt"our relation with China. Our military is almost non existent. Source wikipedia: The armed forces number 23,000 personnel, including civilian employees, and have a full-mobilization combat strength of 83,000. We have conscription but its mostly your own choice if you want to goo in the military. Its very easy to be declared ISD in Norwegian Ikke-Strids-Dyktig. In English it roughly means Not in fighting condition. Our soldiers have very little battle experience the only fights we have participated in was Libya, Afghanistan and some secret mission in the Korea war. Its voluntary to take a foreign NATO mission not many do it. Are not in the military myself are too young but hope i come in there and get a job there. We have some military airports like the one in Rygge where we have some fighter jets we got from the US. Our navy has under 100 ships but they are pretty modern. And our air-force in mostly 72 F-16 air planes from the US. Hope the Scandinavian countries form a alliance where we are independent from EU and US. But that's a time far ahead. Myself politicly are a moderate national socialist. Its pretty difficult to explain. I like the economic and Nationalist aspects and i myself have lost faith in democracy so perhaps the leader system might work. The thing i want to change in the ideology is the hate. I have nothing against immigrants but its important to avoid being a minority in my own country, its not so bad now but it might happen if we in Norway increase the immigration further. I don't want a holocaust and will do my best if the ideology comes to power to avoid that to happen again, and i have nothing against Jews. Just speaking right from the brain (heart)

Never ever lose faith in democracy. It is a hard, difficult, and very frustrating way of doing things, but the other ways are dead ends with shiny bright promises that lead to worse than no where.

Perhaps if its done right and with not the communist style bureaucracy we have in Norway. Its still a thing i am unsure about. We in Norway dosen^t have any nationalist political parties. Are there any movements for the moderate sort of NC^s?

Democracy is a terrible idea .... but it is the best one that the world has ever had .... and for that it should always be supported and respected.

I must confess that I am also a tremendous admirer of the men who put the U.S. constitution together .... and who for the first time in history advocated the rights of individuals over the right's of the state in a legal document. Democracy is a great concept .... but you need the legal framework to back it up.

This is probably the main reason why I am a critic of Putin ..... and a supporter of Medvedev. Putin has an "incorrect" view of American exceptionalism (he thinks it's about the great things that America has done) .... while Medvedev has a better understanding that American exceptionalism is all about it's legal/constitutional history and framework .... and a respect for the rule of law.

Hmmm ... it' late .... I am talking too much about some inside baseball back home. Suffice it to say that one day Russia will one day have a great constitution that will rival what America has had for the past two centuries .... and it will be in everyway a truly democratic society.

Here is a website you want about immigration issues of a certain type.

The blogger is hooked in with people around the world and has translators who can tap.

He is friendly with other bloggers of the same type.

If he is not the best, he is among the best.

He could play cards with WNU.
