Well I was , but now I am hearing about the donbas battalion getting smashed today. My country has sworn to protect the soveignty of Ukraine ....however we have chosen to ignore our oath. It's shameful

BRICS will not solve anything today .... but organizations like this one are indicative of a trend that ten or fifteen years from now may mean something.

Maybe 2 years ago, I would have agreed with your assessment but now we are headed for World War. The winning side will rule the ashes in 10-15 years. The momentum is too strong, people are angry everywhere , and blood is being spilt in every continent in the globe. Once, I hoped for all nations and man to prosper....now I can't read a news story without my blood boiling. Sad to say

Travis .... I sometimes feel like you .... but I am lucky .... I have the memories of my father who survived the Second World War .... and I have my mom today who also witnessed what complete destruction looked like.

And while I do know that the world is on fire today .... we are nowhere near what we have gone through in the past. We will survive .... and in the end we will realize that we are just living through one cycle among many.

Agree. I am a son of a man who fought in 2 wars and had his soul stolen as a 19 year old in Vietnam. Hardest man I have met in my life and he couldn't watch 10 minutes of any Vietnam war movie without crying his eyes out , and this man didn't cry. I don't want any of us to go through this destruction and pain, but its coming, I feel it in my heart. I keep waiting for the tide to turn or even sputter but its not. Humility and selflessness are required to stop it and that is in short order these days. Myself included. Let's hope for the best.

This is why I only comment on WNU boards ....I come in the conversation like a complete horses ass and leave throwing flowers and singing kum-ba-ya

No need to apologize Travis. I have done almost 60,000 post for this blog (58,800 to be exact) .... I can assure you that over the years I have made a comment of two that makes me look like a complete idiot.

Travis,
I was talking about China's behavior, sorry for the misunderstanding. As for a world War, well in a sense we are always heading for one, one day or the other, that is human nature makes a big change. WNU's right, most of the players out here are pretty minor league (ISIS, Syria, Iran, Etc), but I see a lot of potential in a lot of places.
