My Comment: One the most under-reported stories is Kiev's handling of the IMF/Europe/U.S. financial aid that it is receiving. My worry is that after the top has been skimmed in the usual corrupt way .... a good part of it is being used to buy weapons. Unfortunately .... no one in the West is following up on this story, and in Ukraine .... journalists have been told to not go there. As for the state of Ukraine's currency .... the collapse .... my prediction still holds .... we have seen nothing yet.
On the bright side .... the money that I do send to aid my elderly relatives in Ukraine now goes a long way.
