Ukraine's Poroshenko Vows $3 Billion for Military -- Voice of America

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has vowed to increase military spending by $3 billion over the next few years because of the ongoing pro-Russian separatist threat in the east of Ukraine.

Poroshenko made the comment Sunday in Kyiv during a speech marking Independence Day, 23 years after the breakup of the Soviet Union.

He told a crowd of thousands gathered in Independence Square to view a military parade that it is clear the separatist threat will "hang over Ukraine" for the foreseeable future, and the country must be prepared to defend itself.

My Comment: For a country that is broke .... you have to wonder where they are going to get the money. Oh yeah .... IMF and Western aid money .... now we know where it is going.

Thank you for this info, have your heard that from this Ukrainian source Russian troops or pro-Russians have captured Telmanove and there have been reports of seperatists taking control of or attacing Sjedove this the telmanove thing was from Ua maps: http://liveuamap.com/e/2014/24-of-august-russian-forces-captured-telmanove-north-to-novoazovsk?ll=47.78040488055142;38.10195922851534&zoom=9

And the Sjedve case also sources are posted in the editors notes, i also commented about possible unrest in Transnistria on 26 August but that may just be rumors but its confirmed that they have mobilized their army. Thats all the info i have now, do any of your friends or yourself know anything about any of these cases? I think the conflict is taking a even dangerus turn.
