In some ways ISIS is smarter than the global elite.

They think they can pawn people off with panem et circenses, ebt cards, abortions, free healthcare.

What ISIS is offering each male or least saying they are, is a family. They have a stake in the future. The global elite do not do that with the current welfare system.

What dies the current welfare system have? Families headed by single women.
This would be any alpha male paradise.
There are however many more beta males than alpha males by definition. It is a dysfunctional system and it is failing.

Which doesn't mean that the ISIS system won't fail and isn't grossly dysfunctional. But at the onset for many, many males it looks much better than the western welfare model or various other corrupt oligarchies around the world that economically disenfranchise people.

You've got it pretty well described, to these guys ISIS has adventure, romanticism, and women. The West, Bike helmets, mom jeans, all organic, sodium free, shade grown, non exploitative, stuff to eat.
As for poetry,
There once was a girl from Scotland........
