NATO States Are Supplying Ukraine With Weapons - Minister -- B92
NATO states are supplying Ukraine with weapons
In an interview with Ukrainian television Geletey said that he held "verbal consultations with the defense ministers of the leading countries of the world, those that can help us, and they heard us," RT is reporting.
"The supply of weapons is ongoing," he added.
This announcement came a few days after a similar statement made by an aid to the Ukrainian president caused a diplomatic scandal and a wave of denials.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who took part in the recent NATO summit, said that he had reached agreement on direct supply modern weapons with several member-countries.

To James with the locations to the Ukrainian groups:
The Azov Battalion:
They have headquarters in Mariupol and there troops are defending the city, they are far away from Kiev and lack heavy military hardware, but have about 1-3 tanks, some of them or all may have been destroyed.
Right Sector:
They have headquarters in Kiev and does some sabotage warfare in eastern Ukraine and have also helped Ukrainian forces in June/July to retake Mariupol but that was organized most of their activities are sabotage and sometimes direct fighting with separatist forces. I remember them being in Sloviansk in a report from RT where they shot a civilian woman and also they was a part of the coup in Kiev. They have some support in Western Ukraine.
The Donbass battalion:
They have headquarters in Donetsk and they are doing partisan fighting against the separatists. I am unsure of how much support they are getting from the locals. Since I think the separatists are getting more support since they have many more local volunteers and they also have huge rallies, but i may be mistaken. I don't have much Intel on the Donetsk Battalion. They have fought in Ilovaisk and have suffered huge losses and their leader is damaged from artillery shrapnel. They are commanded from the Ukrainian interior ministry in Dnepropetrovsk which is a huge city which are very important for Ukraine since it controls the water gates to Crimea. The city is also under the command of a pro-Ukrainian oligarch. I wonder how long this battalion is going to exist since they have a wounded leader, have few members and have headquarters in a very unsafe place since Donetsk is the capital of Novorossiya
The Aidar Battalion:
Doesn't have a headquarter and the members are volunteers from many places in western Ukraine and there are also some self defense activists there who were in the Maidan demonstrations. They are a detachment of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They have committed war crimes and have many small groups in itself. There is very little Intel i can find about this battalion but they fight against the separatists in eastern Ukraine, I don't know where they have been fighting around Donetsk I think.

Hope this was accurate enough, I am open for more questions thank you for asking them :)

Also to war news:
1.
How will this weapon supply influence the situration?
2.
If the civil war begins once again will the NATO exercise be stopped or will they continue?
3.
Where do you think this conflict is heading? To an end, war again as the ceasfire break or somehting worse?
Rhaegar,
I'll get back to you a little later.
WNU,
This is very serious. I think with this and the announcement by the Ukrainian Defense Minister (see post above) the situation has crossed a line that will be hard to go back over. I suspected the covert supply of weapons (and the implication of pressure to renew the fight), but to publicly acknowledge it with tepid denials from NATO is not good at all. With this development and the military exercises in west Ukraine the West has openly entered the contest at the battlefield. Putin will probably respond by Thursday and I don't look forward to what it will be.
All of this news broke over the weekend .... and Putin usually takes 2 - 4 days to decide what to do. My fear is that Putin is going to respond by sending in heavier weapons to the pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine, thereby emboldening the rebel side to not enter in negotiations. Then again .... Kiev is not showing any interest (beside some public remarks) of entering in any meaningful talks also.
