Islamic State militants have been pictured stalking the deserted streets of Kobane after two days of sustained airstrikes by U.S. and Arab warplanes failed to stop their advance into the suburbs.
The jihadists were seen wandering through abandoned streets in the besieged Syrian town - which is only 200 yards from the Turkish border - as scores of Kurdish soldiers who have battled the militants so bravely over the past three weeks were either captured and killed.
The chilling images come despite two days of sustained airstrikes by a U.S. and Arab coalition, and as a senior UN official said the international community 'cannot sustain' another Syrian town falling into ISIS' hands - urging the world to do whatever is necessary to stop it.

My Comment: Is Islamic State forces are in the town .... and the above photos reveal that they are in the town .... the city will eventually fall .... even if the U.S. escalates their bombing campaign.
