There's a big question swirling around Washington this Monday: Did an airstrike in Iraq wound or even kill the leader of the Islamic State?
Iraqi officials say Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was wounded during an airstrike over the weekend in western Anbar province, but U.S. officials have not commented on the prospect.
Former CIA deputy director Mike Morell, speaking on CBS This Morning, said that — regardless of the status of al-Baghdadi — it's encouraging that allies struck a convoy that included several Islamic State leaders.
