Over 120,000 Pro-Assad Fighters Killed In Syria Conflict: Monitoring Group -- Reuters

(Reuters) - More than 120,000 fighters supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have been killed in the country's civil war since it began in 2011, a group monitoring the war said on Wednesday.

The survivors on both
sides will be some of
the most battle-hardened
and vicious fighters
around. They won't be
able to just turn that
off and resume civilian
life.
