Pew: 75% 'Better Informed' Because Of Internet News Sites, Don't Feel 'Overloaded' -- Washington Examiner
The Internet is revolutionizing news consumption, with more than seven in 10 telling Pew Research Center that they are better informed than they were five years ago because of the news websites they visit daily.
In Pew’s latest survey of Internet use, 75 percent said they are “better informed” about national news, and a near equal 74 percent on international news.
Just as importantly, 72 percent said that having so much information at their fingertips was a good thing and didn’t make them feel overloaded.

My Comment: Count me as one of those who is better informed .... and who is definitely not "overloaded". My only regret is that I wish I had more time to "catch up on the news". If there is a problem in the news media .... it is news coverage of wars and conflicts. Too many times propaganda, ignorance, or agenda driven reporting is what drives the news and not the actual coverage of a conflict and the reasons why it is happening. But then again .... this is why this blog exists ... and why it has a huge audience.

You are so right! The mainstream news media is so bad it stinks. I never believe their propaganda. Thank you for your blog.
May we be so forward as to ask as to your average audience figures?
Naz. Over 4 million unique visitors have come to this blog since 2008. And during this time .... according to Google .... there has been 14,000,000 page visits. My best day was 14,000 unique visitors with 40,000 page views. When a crisis or war erupts .... traffic always jumps up .... depending on the conflict.
But it is people who come to this blog that has always impressed me. Generals, Admirals, intelligence officials, active and retired soldiers (from all over the world), politicians, many fellow bloggers, pundits and reporters, movie stars and .... of course .... more important to me .... people like you and me. This is what makes this blog interesting .... and a joy to always update.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin (when he was Russian ambassador to NATO) use to be a regular visitor and commentator (he now has bigger problems to handle than spending time reading this blog and arguing with me on Russian politics), and according to my tracking tool .... someone in the White House visits once in a while ... usually Friday afternoon. I have also had many personal email correspondences with a number of readers who wish to remain anonymous .... which is unfortunate .... because some of them are well known.
WNU,
