A Look At The Humanitarian Crisis On The Frontline In The Ukraine Conflict

The Guardian: Life on the frontline of the Ukraine conflictuardian:

More than half a million people have been displaced by fighting between government forces and Russia-backed separatists. Residents of Donetsk and Luhansk tell RFE/RL what life is like for those left behind

Update: Lack of aid deepens suffering in conflict-hit east Ukraine (AP)

WNU Editor: The above video is a documentary on the humanitarian crisis in Donbass. There is no snow on the ground .... so it was probably done a month or two ago. Bottom line .... the situation now is far worse .... winter has fully enveloped the region, and the cold temperatures are proving to be just as deadly as artillery and bullets. They say that 4700 have been killed since the fighting has started .... it would not surprise me if the cold, hunger, and disease will end up killing more than the fighting itself when this war is finally over.
