Rob Nikolewski , Watchdog.org: Will crashing oil prices make Russia, Iran and Venezuela more dangerous?

WNU Editor: Venezuela is in no position to do anything .... even if they wanted to. Russia and Iran are a different story .... they can cause problems if they want to ..... but for the moment ... I do not see them adopting that type strategy .... their focus right now is to control their budgets and try to ride the "tough times" for the next year or two.

Agreed about direct actions, but I see Iran indirectly stoking things up via their proxies aka Hamas & Hezbollah which could have a very similar affect if war breaks out in that region.

For the last 3 months reports are of Hezbollah stripping its fighters from the main Syrian army and repositioning along the Golan.

I think this is what you need to watch for.

Iran can't keep balancing the books and supporting Syria and Hezbollah at the same time, something's got to break and another serious war would solve that - not a skirmish...

I say this with no real expertise, I'm honest enough to say that upfront, call it a hunch..
