IMO the way to deal with North Korea is to be crazy.
They act crazy. It is part act & part real.
You out crazy them.
If you re stronger and act crazier, you will be shocked how quickly they remember how to play the rules.
I think game theory would prove me correct.
Autographed basketballs delivered by a Secxretary of State obviously did not work.
What drivel. There have been sanctions of North Korea for how long now ? Since blockade is an act of war, one could be forgiven for thinking the initiative that split Korea up in the first place - and killed almost 30% of the population - remains in fine health. I am reminded that Iran - Ahmadinejad - and Iraq - Hussein - had 'crazy' leaders too. Guess when they don't speak English and their speeches go unreported...or are reported with ridiculously wrong interpretation...that 'crazy' is as crazy is framed.
