The Hill: Obama's big push on Guantanamo
WNU Editor: What I find astounding is that this determination to transfer Guantanamo is releasing some very unsavory characters .... Did President Obama Free A Nuclear Terrorist From Guantanamo?
As to who is left ....
.... Of the remaining 127 detainees left at Guantanamo Bay, 59 have been deemed eligible for transfer after a lengthy interagency review process. Fifty-two of those eligible for release are from Yemen. However, their potential release is complicated by serious political instability in Yemen. The Yemeni government may not be able to ensure that those released will not return to the fight. Another 10 detainees are currently undergoing prosecution via military tribunal at Guantanamo. Of the remaining 58, at least 23 are designated for prosecution. Six have been re-designated for transfer, but the other 29 either await a periodic review board or are ineligible for transfer.

This is purely politics without any regard for the domino effect that he's creating here.
He's bulldozing ahead to close Guantanamo simply because it was one of his campaign promises, and he wants to exit office with that promise fulfilled.
Completely careless.
Obama is actually a conservative Republican operating under deep cover.
This is part of his plan to increase the recidivism rate of released terrorists going back to the battlefield to north of 30%.
By releasing the nuclear terrorists and the GIA supporter, he is hoping for numerous high profile acts of terror.
Not only will Hillary not get into the White House, but the Democrats will take another drubbing kin Congressional elections.
