Mashable: Iraqi media says ISIS militants have contracted Ebola
WNU Editor: The World Health Organization and Iraq's Ministry of Health are refuting these reports .... Officials Refute Iraqi Media Reports That ISIS Members Have Contracted Ebola In Mosul (IBTimes). The problem with these denials is that WHO and the Iraqi government have a minimal (if any) presence in Mosul to investigate and to be in a position to refute these reports. What is known is that medical services in Islamic State controlled areas (like Mosul) have deteriorated to the point of collapse .... and as a result the spread of disease will probably become the number one health concern for all those in Islamic Satte territories. But Ebola in northern Iraq? If it is Ebola, it tells me that it was purposely brought there .... and if that nightmare scenario is the case .... the next big question will be .... who brought the disease, and why.

Fearmongering by ISIS, and fearmongering about ISIS are both highly lucrative fields.
You can pretty much claim anything, then use it as clickbait.
If there really is a plague, is it correctly diagnosed as ebola?
Did the Daesh crack into some BW cache that isn't supposed to exist, like the CW site they took over?
Nope, the story is " piggybacking" on "extremist" chatter about "weaponizing" ebola. The Soviets, ( the Russians) And Americans tried to weaponize Ebola for decades, and spent billions on it, with no sucess.
Because ISIS are "scary dudes" and there is no media presence in their areas, you can write a story, ( and these are actual stories) that ISIS are harvesting organs, ( no word on they are keeping them viable and smuggling them out), using alchemy to " forge" gold, etc.
Like the Nork's, you can pretty much write anything, stick in a few caveats, if it doesn't fit into their fearmongering, they will deny it, if it fits, they will not deny it.
I ignored the story until now.
Jay is probably right.
If I had to place a bet, I would with what Jay said.
If ISIS does have it, maybe they are going Hitler on the Iraq.
