CNN: Dozens killed in clashes between police, Muslim rebels in Philippines
WNU Editor: 40+ police officers killed, only a few rebels killed. Yup .... this was a botched operation. But what is more worrisome is that last year's peace deal promised the separatists more autonomy in return for an end to their insurgency. Unfortunately .... as this massacre has shown .... even though this "peace deal" established peacekeeping procedures .... they appear to not be working at all.
