People knew, it's part of the whole de-Nazification of Europe, whichbwas more about image, than substance.

The German were ahead of the U.S. until sometime in 1942.

The NAZI party created a lot of hate & discontent when they discovered the military use of the atom. It created a lot of ill will with the civilians.

Given the nature of the party it does not seem the could get everyone onboard.

It makes you wonder if they had not gotten off track or sped up research. Could the allies survive without London?

Yeah, because we all know that Eisenhower was a big supporter of Germany.

Aizino,

They didn't have Linkedin, back in the day but the bio's of all the early Bund members, are available through wiki. Until the late 1980's, West German Government, Military, intelligence and Industry was dominated by second Tier Nazi's.

That's because all the anti-Nazi's were either Communists, or Socialist's, and even to this day, the US can't tell the difference.
