WNU Editor: This is U.S. foreign policy?!?!?!?! I know that the U.S. media and much of the U.S. public does not care what the European pundit class have said (or are going to say) on the state of U.S. - European relations ... especially since the U.S. no-show from last week's massive Paris unity march. But this James Taylor "apology" has done something that I rarely see .... the French news and social media websites are always filled with opinions and commentary .... but right now .... on this James Taylor/John Kerry duo .... they are utterly speechless (for now).

WNU never in my wildest dreams never never never never could I think of topping this. Calling all comics, if you guys don't jump on this you should all be condemned for eternity to a Japanese Karaoke Bar with breaks filled by German stand up comics. This a moment that comes once a century, dare I say, yes I shall, for the ages.
James. I sent this Kerry link in Paris to a friend or two in my old stomping grounds at the FO. It is nighttime right now .... but I am definitely looking forward to their response.
As to the rest of Europe .... I watched a French news broadcast and when the story popped up the anchorwomen gave a WTF look. Priceless. Completely priceless.

I know I should be more serious, but really. Can't you just picture Al-Baghdadi meeting in a council of war after viewing this urging the acceptance of the best conditions of surrender they can get. In national capitals all across the world leaders holding frantic meetings, and of course Lavrov breaking into Putin's office with DVD copy saying "this changes everything"!
