I find the death tolls odd. 109 Boko Haram for 4 soldiers and a civilian sounds a bit hard to swallow. Boko Haram has been racking up experience and the best equipment Nigeria has to offer, and I wasn't aware Niger's military was that superior to Nigeria's.
I'm thinking that this was either a probing attack using expendable troops or Niger is inflating the numbers
