WNU Editor: So much for recent reports from the Pentagon stating that the U.S. is making "headway" against the Islamic State. This reminds me of former US Defense Secretary Rumsfeld and his famous 2003 memo on the global war against terrorism .... Are we capturing, killing or deterring and dissuading more terrorists every day than the madrassas and the radical clerics are recruiting, training and deploying against us?

If they have not IMO they are incompetent or rather be king of a burning house?
Iran must not be scared. If they were scared they would not be messing with us so much.
Nukes do not necessarily save you. You could nuke a city or 2 and a determined enemy could still overwhelm you.
Something like 3,000 Iranian border guards have died on the eastern border. They have serious problems and mess with us. People really aren't sure that a good number of american soldiers own;t die at Iranian hands or those of their proxies if & when ISIS is defeated. what is that?
Of course Iran will say it is not them it is the Sadr army of someone else but not them.
