WNU Editor: President Obama tries to justify and explain his political take on religion. Even going back 1,000 years of Christian history to defend his present stance on radical Islam. This is an unbelievably narrow view on religion .... especially on Christian history. Talk about channeling Reverend Wright. Hearing this I would have walked out of the room .... if I want to be insulted I would prefer to be in a different venue.
Update: Of course the media focus is elsewhere .... Obama warns at National Prayer Breakfast of those who use religion to wage war (Washington Post) and Obama Calls Dalai Lama 'Good Friend,' Inspiration (Voice of America).

I completely agree, especially since lately I've been crash reading Susan Wise Bauer's history volumes. Even when it's nothing more than a broad summary of human history it has a broader view of religion than what Obama said.
