President Obama Calls Russian President Putin To Deliver A Warning On Ukraine

Sputnik: Obama Calls Putin to Discuss Conflict in Ukraine

United States President Barack Obama called Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing and increasingly violent conflict in Ukraine.

The White House said Obama urged Putin to seize the opportunity of peace talks between Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany.

Obama told Putin if Russia continues aggressive actions in Ukraine, “including by sending troops, weapons, and financing to support the separatists, the costs for Russia will rise,” the White House said.

WNU Editor: I guess President Obama did not see this report from yesterday .... Kremlin: Do Not Issue Ultimatums Or Threats To Putin. Everyone is putting pressure on everyone else to influence the outcome on tomorrow's peace conference .... but if past experiences are any indication .... this type of pressure has never worked on Putin.
