Ukraine Army Squad Surrenders At Debaltseve (Video)

WNU Editor: That is a lot of soldiers surrendering ... and they definitely look like a defeated army. But the surrender was in an open field .... not in the town of Debeltseve itself. And while pro-Russian rebels have said that they have taken the town .... no independent journalists have confirmed it so far.

There are reports about UA forces are pulling out today from the town of Debaltsevo, but not much detailed information came about this. It was reproted, that UA made an offense against the village of Lohvynove (M03/M40 main road) which is North-West from Debaltsevo, and was the main breakout possibility for the defenders. I do not know much about this attack, but UA could've manage to create a safe corridor to evacuate the remained defenders, but I think only from the town of Debaltsevo, but this pocket have some other villages where UA probably still defending. Here is the latest Kot-ivanov map to see where Lohvynove is: http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/kot_ivanov/71733898/41544/41544_original.jpg

WNU Editor,

This is so far, a small unit war, so prisoners taken in combat, and when they are retreating, are going to be taken in squads,( up to 20) and companies, ( 100'or so), and the second thing you will do, is hustle them out of the area, into a large open field, where they can be aggrigated for processing, and managed by just a squad of soldiers,

So it's "natural" that the vid would be taken, in the place where it was taken.
