New York Times: U.S. Considers Supplying Arms to Ukraine Forces, Officials Say
WNU Editor: This report is an admission from the U.S. that the Ukraine army is losing the war .... and that if military aid is not approved ASAP, there is a very real danger that the Ukraine army will be defeated on the battlefield. What's my take .... this report and its recommendation to ship arms is a recipe for disaster .... and it will all but guarantee a prolongation of the war and the fracturing of Ukraine into two countries.
But what is even more worrisome to me is that if the U.S. does decide to supply weapons to Ukraine .... I know that it will be interpreted in Moscow as a U.S. attempt to wage a proxy war against Russia. And while I do not know what specifically Moscow's reaction would be if the U.S. does ship these weapons to Ukraine .... I do know that it will not only guarantee a return to the Cold War, but Russia will respond forcefully AND OPENLY with its military in Ukraine and elsewhere.

Federalist social media is reporting US made 155mm ammunition fragments in the shelling of Donetsk.
I have not seen those reports yet Jay .... but it would not surprise me. Other European countries are looking for ways to supply arms to Ukraine, and U.S. arms are part of their arsenals.
Back in the summer, the Federalists put up a vid, of the contents of a couple of trucks their SRG Groups grabbed, just after Canada's first non-leathal aid shipments arrived.
About 3,000 AT4's, complete with NATO markings and carrying cases, which, in the subsequent months, could be seen in the Federalists vids from time to time, making the Ukrainian Army's armoured groups lives hell.
It's not something in the Canadian Armed Forces inventory, but there are others for whom the weapon is a common staple.
