Hillary Clinton's Emails - A News Roundup

Ron Christie, Daily Beast: You Better Believe Hillary Clinton’s Emails Matter

Personal email account? OK, maybe. But why does Clinton get to pick and choose which emails she turns over? Same old Clinton song.

On January 20, 2001, I sat at my office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building just steps away from the White House to begin the first day of the George W. Bush administration. Before booting up my computer, I had to physically remove a band placed across my computer by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reminding me that all records, files, and documents were the property of the United States government.

WNU Editor: Her tweet last night that she wants the US State Department to release her emails is not going to impress many .... we all know what she was (and is) doing. And no one should not be surprised .... she wanted/wants to keep some of her correspondence private regardless on the wisdom of doing that .... that is her history. And like in the past .... Hillary Clinton does have her loyal defenders .... House Dem suggests Clinton is raising the bar for transparency (The Hill). But what amazes me about this story is how the media and (I suspect) many in the Democrat Party are now using this story to pile on Hillary Clinton. This (from my point of view) is amazing .... after all that the Clintons have done .... she is going to be torpedoed over controlling her email domain address/server?!?!?! There is more going on than what they are telling us. But the irony of all of this is that for years Hillary Clinton has been one of the biggest proponents for the U.S. government to be the "gate-keeper" of the internet .... and now it is coming back full circle.

Update: Another case of "one rule for me, one rule for thee" .... Clinton State Department Ousted Ambassador Using Private Email (Weekly Standard).

That right there is a death knell.

You play that on a 30 second spot ad infinitum and Hillary is done.

But Republicans can't seem to do much (no spine). They are part of the "combine" and they got the short end of the stick when it came to playing kabuki theater.

The long knives are out for Hillary. She is being moved aside so the females Massachussetts Senator, Elizabeth Warren, can put her hat in the ring.
