BBC: UK 'spied on Argentina' over Falklands, claims Edward Snowden
Documents released by the American whistle-blower Edward Snowden claim that Britain spied for several years on the Argentine government.
According to reports in the Argentine media, Britain was concerned that Argentina could launch another attempt to reclaim the Falkland Islands.
The two nations fought a war over the islands in 1982.
Last month the British government announced it was upgrading its military presence on the islands.
Mr Snowden says British agents were actively spying on Argentina between 2006 and 2011.

A British government should fall from power if they did not spy on Argentina over the Falklands.
People who do not believe in spying when necessary are like the crazy uncle at Thanksgiving who should been seen little and not heard.
Many people take it as axiomatic or at least highly probably that totalitarian government or any unscrupulous government is likely to start a war to distract the voters/citizens.
If Argentina has such a government it would be prudent to spy on them.
They killed a prosecutor to save the Argentinian president's butt. What kind of government is that?
