The Islamic State Continues Their Destruction Of Ancient Iraqi Cities



Daily Mail: Shock new video shows ISIS thugs smashing historic Iraqi city of Nimrud with barrel bombs, bulldozers and jackhammers in orgy of destruction slammed as a war crime by the United Nations

* ISIS fighters destroyed ancient ruins of Iraqi Assyrian city of Nimrud dating back to the 13th century B.C.
* The attack, near Mosul, took place last month, but a seven-minute video of destruction has now emerged

A video allegedly showing ISIS militants destroying a historic city in northern Iraq dating back to the 13th century B.C. using sledgehammers, drills and barrel bombs, has emerged this morning.

ISIS fighters can be seen hammering and drilling away at sculptures and stone slabs believed to be some 3,000 years old in the ruins of the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud, located near the Islamic State-controlled city of Mosul.

The seven-minute expertly edited video, purportedly shows Islamic State destroying the relics before bulldozing and blowing up the ruins, completely obliterating the historic site.

In some science mag a physicists postulate or believed that while we could not invent a time machine to go back in time that we could see back into time.

Depending on how cost prohibitive it is, archaeologists definitely would not to get in on that action.

Plus you could solve crimes where people have disposed of all evidence before authorities got on the scene.

I am not sure the cost would be achievable. And I would dearly love to link to the article.

So if this 'pipe dream' is true the ramification are enormous.

So what do those apes in ISIS really think they are doing?
