The NSA Has A Special Room For Analysts To Watch The Porn That Terrorists Watch

NSA Headquarters

Gizmodo:
NSA Has a Special Room to Find Terrorist Memos Hidden in Porn

If you’re working for the National Security Agency, watching hours of hardcore porno can be just another day at work. So much so, there’s even a special porn room in which to protect national security, where agents look past boobs for clues in the glut of smut.

NSA agents analyze the pornography that terrorists and suspected radicals watch, since embedding hidden, encrypted messages in porn clips is a known tactic.

Documents publicized by Edward Snowden made it clear that the NSA has been monitoring porn habits in some capacity. And the volume of sexually explicit material is so high that officials say there’s a special room for it:

So do police departments.

Any PD that goes after kiddie porn or trying to catch people going for underage kids (including ephebophiles) has a room that is access controlled room with a control log. They also get counseling of some sort.

Only the scale is different. One is local or national and the other is transnational.

Interesting term "ephebophiles". I have never heard of it before. What is interesting is that in all of the discussions that suggest priests are homosexual their defenders argue that even though they go after young boys it doesn't mean they are homosexual because they stop when the "boys" hit puberty, i.e., no longer an attraction to them. The term "ephebophiles" suggests otherwise. I wish I had know that term some time ago because it would have fit nicely in some of the arguments I had with those defenders of priest child offenders.

You can be charged in some states with having underage sex with an 18 year old. In those states the youth most have also graduated from highschool.

I think that people who mess up with a 17 year old should be treated different then a someone who hits on someone say 11.

The language is there to distinguish an ephebophile from a pedophile but obviously not so much in political discussions.

On could make valid arguments either way.

Catholic Bishop accountability tracks the statistics. Their chart shows the problem decreasing significantly. They also point out that it may just be a delay in reporting.

what I do see almost daily is school teachers hitting on students. Of course with a big country that almost tells you zero. I don't know what the rate per 1,000 is. Then you would have to compare it to other grouping such as priests and others.
