FOX News: Obama calls for release of Americans held in Iran, after nuke deal omitted them
President Obama called Tuesday for the release of Americans held in Iran, individually naming them during a speech at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention -- a week after his diplomatic team helped strike a nuclear accord with Iran that did not secure the prisoners' freedom.
The deal's failure to address the prisoners' status has fueled criticism of the Obama administration, though State Department officials have said they raised their imprisonment repeatedly. The president also scolded a reporter last week at a White House press conference for suggesting he was "content" to leave the prisoners out of the deal.
Obama vowed Tuesday to continue to press their case.
Update: Obama calls on Iran to release 'unjustly detained' Americans -- The Guardian
WNU Editor: These words are hollow. Iran demanded the U.S. release four Iranian prisoners two years ago .... and the White House relented .... Iran Continues To Hold Four U.S. Citizens Even Though The U.S. Released 4 Iranians Two Years Ago To Start The Nuclear Talk. The U.S. could have demanded the same .... and should have made it very clear at the time that they would walk away if this demand was not met. But the White House did not pursue this policy ... to them a nuclear deal was far more important than the release of 4 American "hostages". Now that the White House and The President are being put on the carpet for this, they do not even have the courage to admit that these Americans were expendable for a deal that they thought was vital for long term U.S. interests in the Middle East.

"These words are hollow. " Yes.
But you got to manage PR. This perfidious behaviour by Obama is going through social media even if the MSM is ignoring or trying to.
So they have to deal with it.
