Reuters: Ukraine, rebels report deadliest fighting in over a month
Ukraine on Wednesday reported some of the strongest attacks by pro-Russian rebels since the signing of a peace deal in February, with eight government soldiers killed in the past 24 hours.
The separatist rebels in turn accused Ukrainian forces of intensifying attacks. They said two of their fighters and a civilian had been killed, and seven people wounded.
More than 6,500 people have been killed since the conflict broke out in eastern Ukraine in April last year. Attacks have lessened since the peace agreement was brokered in Minsk, Belarus, five months ago, but both sides accuse each other of violations.
The latest daily casualty figures were the highest in over a month.

Thank you for still making analysis of the Ukrainian crisis, It's good to hear you'r recent thoughts about the Crisis. I wonder where the crisis will head now, especially with no progress in the Minsk deal and with the right Sector clashes.
I think this may escalate further, and the worst case scenario is a coup but I hope that won't happen, but Right Sector has a lot of support from other militias and they also have some public support in some places in Ukraine like Lviv. But I hope they fail and get de-armed, especially if they are mad enough to try to do what they Did in Odessa 2. May in other places. I am unsure if they have the strength and support of performing a coup, I can see one scenario of them perhaps getting support by some parts of the official army in Ukraine and some volunteer battalion, or something more likely could be them taking their of provinces in areas in Ukraine where they have local support like in far west in Lvov. But it's speculation, but Would be nice to hear someones opinion about this, if I am onto something or if I am Hitting a dead end?
A coup by Right Sector is not going to happen. But a political crisis is now brewing in parliament .... a lot of people are angry. I will be posting more tomorrow.
Um, shouldn't you mention that 5 of the 8 killed had NOTHING to do with the rebels and were the results of the Ukrainians stepping on their own landmines they placed on their border with Russia?
